- Log into Salesforce → Setup → Apps → App Manager → New Connected App
- Enable OAuth Settings
- Set Callback URL to
https://login.salesforce.com/services/oauth2/callback(not actually used for Client Credentials) - Select scopes:
api,refresh_token,offline_access - Save and wait 2-10 minutes for activation
- Copy Consumer Key (Client ID) and Consumer Secret
- Enable Client Credentials Flow: Go to the Connected App → Manage → Edit Policies → Enable Client Credentials Flow
- Assign a Run As user (the service account Salesforce will use)
- Your Instance URL is your Salesforce org URL (e.g.,
https://yourorg.my.salesforce.com) - Test connection to verify everything works
