  1. Log into Salesforce → Setup → Apps → App Manager → New Connected App
  2. Enable OAuth Settings
  3. Set Callback URL to https://login.salesforce.com/services/oauth2/callback (not actually used for Client Credentials)
  4. Select scopes: api, refresh_token, offline_access
  5. Save and wait 2-10 minutes for activation
  6. Copy Consumer Key (Client ID) and Consumer Secret
  7. Enable Client Credentials Flow: Go to the Connected App → Manage → Edit Policies → Enable Client Credentials Flow
  8. Assign a Run As user (the service account Salesforce will use)
  9. Your Instance URL is your Salesforce org URL (e.g., https://yourorg.my.salesforce.com)
  10. Test connection to verify everything works
